Data Processors

In some situations, we need to engage third parties. For example, various booking platforms through which we manage all our reservations. These parties then act as our data processors. We use a booking system for hotel reservations, camping, activities, and, to some extent, the restaurant. We monitor these data processors to ensure that they guarantee the security and confidentiality of personal data and that they process personal data only for the specified purposes. Our data processor is Comers.

Entities that are independent data controllers

In some cases, we may share your personal data with certain other parties that are independent data controllers, such as when we engage other parties for activities and transportation. When your personal data is shared with a party that is an independent data controller, that organization’s privacy policy and data processing practices apply.

How long do we retain your personal information?

Your personal data will be retained for as long as we are required to do so by law, contract, consent, or a balancing of interests.

Bookings saved in our Comers booking system—including accommodations, activities, and packages—are retained for 2 years, after which your information is anonymized in the system. Your information may be retained in our customer database to facilitate the processing of future bookings, but it is also anonymized there after 2 years.

Your business information is stored in our customer database so that we can keep billing information and references on file to make it easier to handle your future bookings. (Please let us know if you would like to be removed from the database.)

Due to legal requirements, certain accounting records must be retained for at least seven years. This applies to information needed for accounting purposes.

Contact information provided via email is retained until the matter is resolved, at which point the information is deleted.

You may request the correction of inaccurate information and, in certain cases, its deletion.
