Ice Fishing
Early spring is a great time for ice fishing! Right next to the national park, there are several lakes that are perfect for fishing during these months. Char, whitefish, trout, and grayling thrive here. Bring a reindeer skin, an ice auger, and an ice fishing rod, warm yourself in the spring sun, and try your luck at fishing while the ice and snow are still thick!
You can rent ice augers, ice fishing rods, and maggots from us! Talk to us at the front desk to reserve your equipment and snowmobile transportation. If you have your own transportation (car or snowmobile), we’ll let you know where you can go.
Bring: warm clothes
