DAILY HIKES
We offer guided day hikes for both experienced and less experienced hikers to some of the nearby places to the lodge. Each tour includes coffee and coffee!
The day hikes are booked the day before at the reception, by phone or email.
THE WATERFALL / STUORMUORKKEGÅRTTJE
Join a guided tour of the site, which was the reason why Stora Sjöfallet in 1909 was designated one of the first national parks in Europe. Even though the case is not as big as it once was, it is a very nice trip with a mighty view of both the case and the mountains!

SJÖFALLSUDDEN / LAPONIA GARDEN
An easier hike of 2km to the nice excursion site at Sjöfallsudden where you see the outlet of the waterfall Stuormuorkkegårttjes and the mountains in the background. Here is also the island of Jábmeksuolu, an old burial ground that today is a protected ancient site.

SOLDALEN
Follow us up to Soldalen, a beautiful hike on about 3 km easy road. The trip begins in the dreamy mountain birch forest and reaches its destination up on the bare mountain. Here you have a wonderful view of the Great Falls, Ahkkájaure and the mountain world.
If you want, you can continue to Niera's peak at 1490 m.ö.h. there is an opportunity here to continue upwards.
Level: Soldalen - medium. Nieras - difficult.
